After teaming together on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Cody and Darby Allin will square off when Dynamite returns on Jan. 1.
The match was confirmed by Cody and Darby on social media following Wednesday's episode.
The two previously clashed at AEW Fyter Fest with the bout ending in a 20-minute time limit draw. After Cody and QT Marshall lost to The Butcher and The Blade on Dec. 11, Darby extended a partnership to Cody. The two teamed on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite to defeat The Butcher & The Blade. Having proven himself to be a good partner, Darby now has unfinished business with Cody.

Also set for the Jan. 1 episode of AEW Dynamite is an AEW Women's Championship bout pitting Riho defending against Kris Statlander.
