Dakota Kai explains where her brace was on Raw.
Fans may have noticed that Dakota Kai didn't have her knee brace on Monday's Raw as she appeared alongside Damage CTRL (Asuka, IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, & Bayley) in a segment built around Bayley discussing her women's Royal Rumble victory.
Kai has been sidelined since May 2023 with a torn ACL.
Speaking on her Twitch channel, Dakota explained that she simply forgot her brace.
"I actually forgot my brace. That's why I didn't have it on, on Monday. That doesn't mean anything. You've probably seen someone like Zoey [Zoey Stark], she still wears her brace. I will have to be wearing it when I wrestle, but I forgot it. Don't read into guys. I literally forgot it," she said.
It is unknown when Kai will be cleared to return.
Earlier in January, Kai said rehab was going great.
