Rollins did lose to Priest at WWE Money in the Bank after Drew McIntyre cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and CM Punk interfered. Priest pinned McIntyre in the bout.

In a backstage segment on the July 8th episode of WWE Raw, Rollins told Priest that sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, and that Priest might have been lucky at WWE Money in the Bank, but he's also good. He continued by saying Priest will need to be even better against Gunther at WWE SummerSlam.

Priest said that if Rollins wants a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title after he gets done with Gunther, he could name the time and the place.
