Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston Hit GTS On Each Other In WWE Live Event

Though CM Punk hasn't wrestled for WWE since early 2014, his finisher is still being used, at least on a one-time occasion at a recent WWE event.

On a recent WWE live event in Lima, Peru, Kofi Kingston defended his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan and during the course of the match, Bryan hit the GTS, which Punk used as a finishing move for years in WWE, not once, but twice on Kingston. This occurred after "CM Punk!" chants broke out during the match.

Whenever Bryan would go for a pin on Kingston after hitting the GTS, Kingston kicked out of it. When Bryan tried to hit the move a third time, Kingston managed to escape in time and hit the GTS himself. Below are videos of the move.

Kingston ended up winning the match and retaining the title. The live event also featured Shinsuke Nakamura defending his Intercontinental Championship against Ali as well as Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe in a street fight. Full results of that live event can be read at this link.
