John Cena, along with Dave Bautista, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar, was part of the successful first class of Ohio Valley Wrestling to make it onto the WWE roster and later headline multiple WrestleMania events.

Danny Davis, one of the men responsible for training John Cena and others, recently spoke on the News4Jax Going Ringside podcast and said that he immediately knew John Cena was going to have what it takes to make it in the industry because he had already established for himself in the OVW area by the time he arrived for training.

"Five minutes after I was introduced to John Cena, I knew he had it because, a lot of guys who relocate and come to a different city, they need help like finding an apartment or just anything. I did not have to babysit him, not one bit."

John Cena did make it and would spend 20 years with WWE and he is still a part of the WWE family today.

He recently noted that he would like to tell Hollywood to hit the pause button with him for a while so that he can go back to WWE for one last run. Read more here.
