Allin and King trade words.
The October 8 edition of AEW Dynamite opened with a face to face confrontation between Brody King and Darby Allin ahead of WrestleDream.
Allin reminisced on the days of being on the independent scene with King and how they used to stay in bad hotels and wonder if they would ever make it to TV. Allin then went on to talk about how he got King a job in AEW, allowing him to have the income to let his father retire. Allin boasted about being able to retire his own father before claiming that he's the face of AEW.
King fired back at Allin and talked about how he is his own worst enemy. King specifically targeted Allin for wanting to climb Mount Everest, saying that he could die and send his father back to work. Allin then begged for King to put him out of his misery right then and there.
A brawl ensued between both stars, but Allin got the best of King after nailing him with a rock. The segment came to a close as Allin and King were seperated by security.
