At Hoodslam Iris, trans wrestler Dark Sheik competed as Valarie Venus. Sheik parodied Val Venis by wearing a towel to the ring. Sheik took off the towel and danced before the match. Sheik entered to the song "Venus" by Shocking Blue.

This comes after the formation of the Valued Allies of LBGTQ+ Vital Educational & NonJudgemental Informational Services (VAL VENIS) to support the LGBTQ+ community. Sheik took to social media to comment on the appearance and promote the website ValVenis.com, which leads to TransEquality.org.
