Dave Bautista (Batista) Says He Would Still Be Involved In WWE If He Wasn't Acting

Dave Bautista (Batista) has successfully made the transition from the world of WWE to the world of Hollywood, starring in films like "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Blade Runner 2049," "Dune," "Knock at the Cabin," and more.

Batista wrapped up his full-time WWE career in 2010, but returned for part-time runs in 2014 and 2019.

Speaking on BuzzFeed Celeb, Batista was asked what he would be doing if he wasn't an actor.

“I would still be involved with WWE, I hope. Because I really loved it. It wasn’t that I ever wanted to not be a part of that universe because I love the WWE Universe. It was just that I became so passionate about acting, and I’m still pursuing it with everything I have, but I still love that world. I have a good relationship with the company. I hope that they would always leave the door open for me because I just love professional wrestling," he said.

Batista competed in his last match at WrestleMania 35, losing to Triple H.

Elsewhere during the interview, Batista praised CM Punk. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
