Dave Bautista (Batista) Says Triple H Gave Him The Best Advice When He Said, 'You're A Business'

Dave Bautista (Batista in WWE) will always be tied to Triple H in the world of wrestling as they were together in Evolution, Batista won his first WWE Title from Triple H, and Batista had his final match against Triple H.

Along the way, Triple H gave Batista a big piece of advice.

"I had a mentor named Triple H and there were a couple of things he said to me that always stuck with me. One of the things was when I first got there, I was so afraid...I didn't want to piss people off. It was a hierarchy thing and I was so afraid of being disrespectful or pissing somebody off. One day he said, 'Look man, you want to make money or you want to make friends? This is a business. You have to look at it like a business. You're a business.' I always thought about myself as my own commodity. I am my brand. Another thing he said, 'Always imagine that everybody is pointing a gun at your head. It's up to you how many bullets you give them,'" Batista told The School of Hark Knocks.

Batista not only went on to have a successful WWE career, but he's become one of the top acts in Hollywood since leaving WWE.

He currently stars in "The Killer's Game," which is now in theaters.
