David Finlay believes he and Zack Sabre Jr. bring out the best in each other when they wrestle.
Finlay and Sabre Jr. have wrestled twice in the past and, each time, the matches have wowed fans. Finlay believes that's because the two have great chemistry and bring out the best in each other.
That's what Finlay told Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp in a recent interview, in preparation for his match with Zack Sabre Jr. at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Windy City Riot.
It's funny. We've actually had two singles matches. I think one was during like the World TV title tournament or whatever and then just this last New Japan Cup. So, especially with Zack being as good as he is—he was World champ all last year, won the G1, won both main events of the Tokyo Dome. So he's one of those guys that I'm aware there's a lot of stock in Zack. So going toe to toe with him and him bringing the best out of me and I think me bringing the best out of him, I think makes for pretty good wrestling," Finlay said.
NJPW's Windy City Riot is happening on Friday, April 11 at the Winrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
