Dax Harwood Reveals Back Injury, Will Be Sidelined For The Foreseeable Future

Dax Harwood will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

In a new video on social media, Dax Harwood revealed that he is being taken off the road due to a back injury.

Harwood said he hurt his lower back at AEW Dynasty in the ladder match against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson). He said he suffered a hematoma on his lower back in the match, and he tried to tough through it. He said the hematoma blew up after his match on AEW Collision where he and Cash Wheeler teamed to face Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta).

Harwood said the pain has been excruciating over the past few months, but he had been hiding it because he didn't want FTR taken off the road. He said he got an X-ray on his lower back, and when he explained his injury to the AEW medical team, he was immediately taken off the road so it didn't get worse and possibly cause him to retire.

It is unknown when Dax will return to the ring.

Dax said he hopes to come back better than ever. He apologized to the fans, Tony Khan, and the AEW medical team.

Fightful wishes Dax the best in his recovery.
