Dominik Mysterio screwed over Rhea Ripley.
At WWE SummerSlam, Liv Morgan defended the WWE Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley. The match marked Ripley's first match since WWE WrestleMania XL, as she had been out of action due to a shoulder injury. Dominik Mysterio accompanied Ripley to the ring.
Ripley overpowered Morgan early on after the champion tried to evade her and play mind games with her. Morgan took control when Ripley seemingly injured her shoulder. Dominik got involved as he pushed Ripley out of the way when Morgan went for a dive to the outside. Ripley seemingly popped her shoulder back into its socket. Morgan continued to target the shoulder, but Ripley powered out of an arm-bar and slammed Morgan.

Morgan got a chair, and Ripley again shoved her shoulder back into place. She stopped Morgan from using the chair and went for the Riptide. Mysterio stopped Ripley from hitting Morgan with the chair, and Morgan hit the Oblivion for a near-fall.

Dominik then distracted the referee, and Morgan hit Oblivion onto a chair for the win. Dominik smiled after the bell, so it was clearly part of the plan.
