Drew McIntyre On CM Punk's Return: Anything That Makes Wrestling Better

CM Punk is back in wrestling and everyone seems to have an opinion on it.

Ahead of Punk's return, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns commented that Punk was never as over as John Cena and he didn't move the needle like The Rock.

During the SummerSlam media event, Drew McIntyre was asked about Punk's return by Pro Wrestling Bits.

"Just anything that's good for wrestling, I'm all about. I was outside the company from 2014 to 2017, working the Independents and with IMPACT, just trying to make wrestling a healthier and better place. It's healthy right now, it's in an incredible place, obviously, WWE is at the top and leading the charge. Anything that can make it better, I'm all about. If it makes a positive difference, it's a thumbs up from me," he said.

Punk made a big impact for AEW, bringing in over one million viewers for AEW Rampage The First Dance. His return also did big numbers for AEW's YouTube page as the video of his entrance is already the 10th most-watched video on the page.
