After months of tension, Dustin Rhodes will face Jake Hager at AEW Revolution on February 29.
This will be the first in-ring match for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Hager. The man is formerly known as Jack Swagger debuted on the inaugural edition of AEW Dynamite on the TNT Network where he aligned himself with Chris Jericho and completed the Inner Circle faction.
In the build-up to Jericho's match with Dustin the younger brother, Cody, Dustin would have his arm broken by Jake Hager when Hager slammed it in the door of a limousine. Dustin would soon vow vengeance against the man that perpetrated this attack but it would not officially challenge Jake Hager to a match until the February 12th episode of AEW Dynamite after Dustin Rhodes defeated Sammy Guevara.
