BetWrestling.com has released some early betting odds for this Sunday's WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event, and there are some very intriguing favorites at this point.
For one, Neville is favored to retain his Cruiserweight Title by beating Austin Aries for the third straight time, and The Miz is favored to regain the Intercontinental Title from Dean Ambrose, the man who took it from him back in January. Of course, the nature of the IC Title match stipulation is that Ambrose could lose the title on a DQ, so it's possible he might lose the belt in that fashion.
Both The Hardys and Alexa Bliss are favored to retain their titles coming out of Sunday.
But in the most interesting betting line, Samoa Joe has emerged as the early favorite to win the #1 Contenders Fatal Five Way match, with 64% odds of coming out on top.

Understanding how to make sense of reading this odds is very simple. If the number on the left of the fraction is greater than the number on the right, this indicates an underdog. The opposite is true for the favorite. The percentages for probability appear to not add up to 100% in these matches and the reason for this is that they are based on the odds being offered. This could be for a number of reasons including “the vig” which is a fee or commission the books takes to remain profitable or that they are willing to offer better odds to entice wagers on bets that they do not believe will be successful anyway.
