Eddie Kingston won the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, defeating KENTA at NJPW Strong Independence Day.
The finish saw Kingston kick KENTA in the face twice as he waved Kingston on. Kingston would hit a spinning back fist followed by a northern lights bomb to score the pinfall victory.
