Edge is no longer listed on WWE's internal roster.
PWInsider first reported the update, noting that the 'Rated-R Superstar' was removed from the miscellaneous section of the roster. Edge is still currently listed on WWE's public roster, which can be seen on WWE.com.
Earlier this month, Edge was removed from the active performer section of WWE's internal roster.
Edge last wrestled for WWE on the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown, as he competed in a bout against Sheamus. That match took place in Edge's hometown of Toronto.
After the conclusion of that bout, the rumor mill began to swirl about Edge and his future in professional wrestling. A few days later, Edge took to social media and cleared up some of those rumors, saying that he had a contract extension offer from WWE sitting in his email inbox.
It is currently unknown what Edge will do next in the world of professional wrestling. Fightful will update fans when more information is made available.
Chris Jericho recently commented on the possibility of Edge joining All Elite Wrestling, saying that it would be good to shock people. Fans can learn more about Jericho's comments by clicking here.
