Edge Returns On 6/25 WWE SmackDown, Attacks Roman Reigns During His Universal Championship Address

Edge is back!

On the June 25 edition of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns closed the show with what was supposed to be a State of the Universal Championship Address. He and Paul Heyman believe that they have run through the entire division and were set to do something unprecedented. Just then, however, The Rated R Superstar's music hit.

Edge hit the ring and attacked Reigns. After going for a chair, Edge was caught with a Superman Punch but speared the Tribal Chief as he was about to utilize the weapon. Edge was setting up for a Con-Chair-To but was interrupted by Jimmy Uso. This allowed Roman time to flee the scene. The show went off the air with the WWE Hall of Famer telling Roman, "You want me? I'm right here!"

Earlier in the night, Seth Rollins also expressed his desire to be Roman's next challenger. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville said that they would consider it.

Edge has not been seen since WrestleMania 37, where he and Daniel Bryan lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two, getting stacked and pinned by The Head of the Table.
