El Cuervo De Puerto Rico Returns On December 14, Over A Year After Cinder Block Incident

El Cuervo de Puerto Rico will officially return to the ring on Dec. 14 under the CWA banner.

It's been over a year since Angel o Demonio tossed a concrete block onto the head of El Cuervo de Puerto Rico in one of the scariest incidents in wrestling. El Cuervo had to undergo surgery for a blood clot and has spent the last year recovering and rehabbing for an eventual return to the ring.

On Dec. 3, Cuervo announced his retirement from the sport on Facebook, but the post was deleted and clarified on Dec. 4. Cuervo's agent Victor Arroyo also clarified the story to Fightful, saying Cuervo made a rash decision but after talking with Arroyo and seeing the fan support, he will continue on the comeback trail. Now, his return to the ring is official.

Cuervo will face "Showman" Mike Nice and Manuel Rodriguez in a three-way bout at the event.

Fightful will have notes from Cuervo's comeback following the event.
