El Reverso captured the QPW Qatar Championship during the second night of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Forged In Excellence.
El Reverso became the second man in history to hold the Qatar Championship after pinning Classy Ali during the second match of the night on October 20.
Holding to his name, El Reverso reversed an Avalanche Back Superplex attempt and pinned the former champion after hitting a Moonsault Frog Splash.

Classy Ali held the championship for 580 days. According to Cagematch, he has five defenses on record since capturing the championship in a Battle Royal on March 21, 2023. One of those defenses was over AEW star Mansoor at QPW Region Force 2 in April 2024.
Now, El Reverso forges a new path as champion.
