Elijah says Ezekiel is still on the road back.
Ezekiel had a memorable run in WWE. He debuted on the April 4, 2022, episode of WWE Raw, and he maintained that he and Elias were separate people. Kevin Owens viciously attacked him on the August 8th, 2022, episode of WWE Raw, and Ezekiel went to a local medical facility. Elias returned a few months later, and he said that Ezekiel was in a coma in February 2023. WWE released Elias in September 2023. He later provided an update on Ezekiel in early 2024.
During a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Elijah was asked about Ezekiel's run in WWE.
“Zeke got involved in the mix for a little while. It was great to see him live out his dream. It was a little bit short-lived. I thought he had a great career ahead of himself. Kevin Owens took care of him, that’s for sure. He’s hanging out in California, working out, staying in shape. He’s rehabbing. He’s still recovering, still on the road back. Maybe one day he makes a comeback. Long recovery. Back injuries are no joke," Elijah said.
Elijah was later asked whether Ezekiel would be in the WWE Royal Rumble, and he noted that he could not speak on his behalf. However, he reiterated that Ezekiel was on the road to recovery, and he could potentially return someday.
“I can’t speak on his behalf, but he’s recovering well. He’s getting primed for a comeback," Ezekiel said.
