Ethan Page says Tony Khan came up with The Men of the Year.
Ethan Page was a tag team wrestler in IMPACT Wrestling with Josh Alexander as part of The North. Page left IMPACT and joined AEW and outside of an angle with Darby Allin, he has been in a tag team with Scorpio Sky.
Dubbed “The Men of the Year,” Ethan and Scorpio have faced Sting and Darby Allin in tag team action, and currently, they are paired with Dan Lambert and American Top Team.
Speaking with Z100, Ethan Page credited Tony Khan with the idea for the pairing calling the AEW president a genius.
“That was all Tony Khan. He is a genius and it was something that, both of us, kind of were not skeptical, but like, ‘Oh, this is interesting. I don't know how this is gonna work.’ Then it ended up being perfect. Like we have a bromance on-screen and off-screen. It's great chemistry. We've become very fast friends. He's someone that I trust wholeheartedly, and I am having the best time of my career so far, and I think it's only going to get better. “
