All Ego is All NXT.
Ethan Page officially signed with NXT on the June 4 episode of NXT, and he got a lot of perks in his deal. The biggest perk is a shot at Trick Williams and the NXT Championship at NXT Battleground on June 9.
In the contract signing segment with NXT GM Ava, Page noted that he had the leverage, saying NXT lost a lot of superstars in the draft and he was the man to fill the void. He noted that he could have sat at home and collected a paycheck, but he wanted to show the world why he's a star.
Trick Williams confronted Page, and implored Ava to sign Page so he could whoop him. Ava stated that, as part of Ethan's deal, he would get a shot at the NXT Title. This did not deter Trick, who wanted Page and the bout signed.
Ava and Page signed the contract, making Page an NXT superstar and making the NXT Title match for NXT Battleground official.
