Eugene feels that his segment with The Rock took him to the next level.

WWE Kickoff show host Jonathan Coachman will be returning to in-ring competition this weekend for a charity show for the 'Midwest All Pro Wrestling' promotion in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His opponent is his former rival on WWE TV, former WWE World Tag Team Champion Eugene. Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore is a regular on the independent scene in Sioux Falls and he and Coachman are coming together to raise awareness for organ donation.

To promote their upcoming match and the cause that they'll be wrestling for, Eugene sat down with 'KDLT News' and reflected on some of his career highlights including when he was a part of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's return to WWE in 2004. Eugene stated that the moment was magic and felt that it was on that night that he became a star in WWE.

“The Rock’s music hit, and they say he’s the most electrifying man in sports-entertainment and we were in this --- it was a magical moment, and the thing is, that’s what made me a star. That’s what took Eugene to the next level. When The Rock came out and said, ‘Eugene and The Rock are friends’ and The Rock didn’t know me, he didn’t have to do that.” Dinsmore said.
