Abyss talks the partnership between WWE and TNA.
The working relationship between WWE and TNA has been in play for over a year at this point, allowing stars like Joe Hendry, Trick Williams, Moose, Wes Lee, Jordynne Grace, and Ethan Page to cross over to the other promotion.
A crossover to WWE was never possible for Abyss, as there was virtually no positive relationship between WWE and TNA during his days as an in-ring competitor. In a new interview with Fightful, Abyss had nothing but glowing things to say about the current partnership.
“It’s incredible. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me. When I wrestled there, that was never an option. That was never on the table for the two companies to work together. For WWE to reach out and TNA to be receptive, and both companies come together with this collaboration, you’ve seen it with Joe Hendry and Trick Williams, just the collaboration together; the number one winner is the fans. It’s an incredible, monumental, ground-breaking moment for the two companies to collaborate and work together. The number one benefactor is the fans. It makes me incredibly happy to see it happen.”

Abyss is now available as a playable character in WWE 2K25, as he’s part of the Dunk & Destruction DLC pack that released on June 25.
