Alexxis Falcon Explains How Producing For PROGRESS Came About

Alexxis Falcon discusses producing for PROGRESS during her time away from the ring.

When Alexxis Falcon got injured mid-2024, Fightful Select reported that Falcon had been working backstage as a producer for PROGRESS Wrestling, a role that Falcon would keep until she returned to the ring at PROGRESS Unboxing in late December of last year.

During a recent interview with Fightful's Corey Brennan, Alexxis Falcon was asked if producing with PROGRESS helped her through her recovery and she spoke about how producing for PROGRESS while on the shelf came about.

"Yeah, because like, 90% of my friends are in wrestling. So not even the social side of it, like you're not seeing them every week. You're not catching up with them. You've got loads to fill them in on. So it was really nice to kind of be there. PROGRESS were amazing. The second I got here (home after injury), I text, I had a message while I was at the show I got injured at from Andrew Bowers, who he does some stuff backstage with PROGRESS about the next show. I voice noted him in the car and I was crying and I was like, 'I'm sorry, this is so unprofessional.' I'm crying on the voice note, but I can't type. I said, 'but I'm injured and I don't know what's up. I don't know if I'm going to be okay tomorrow, but it feels really bad.' and he was like no worries like we'll call you when you know, like just keep us in the loop, all that. As soon as I kind of got the news and they said... because originally they told me I wasn't going to be back till February, March time, around now and I said I'm out for a really long time and he went, not a problem. He was like, you don't have to. All the progress, it wasn't just Bowers that said this, they were all like, if you need anything from us, you let us know and you are more than welcome to come and do some agenting backstage where you kind of like help the cameras. I think the agents are invaluable and it taught me a real lot. So I feel like I still managed to get some training in, if that makes sense, but from a completely different angle that I've never even considered before. It was really nice to still kind of be there around people and meant that they didn't forget about me. Because that's your biggest worry, isn't it? Like you get injured, the spot gets filled that you should have had. Then it's like, it's more than fair that promotions may say when you come back, we don't have anything for you now because we might have had all this, but someone's took that spot now and we don't need it. But they were incredible to me. I'm so grateful that they were straight away, like, if you want to come and agent for us, you're more than welcome and they had me agent in almost every show. So it was really nice."
