Amale discusses Lyra Valkyria.
Before she became Lyra Valkyria in NXT, Vakyria was previously Aoife Valkyrie in NXT UK, and Valkyrie on the European independent scene. One woman who clashed with Lyra not only in NXT UK but on the independents is former NXT UK name Amale, who is not surprised by Lyra finding success in WWE.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Amale discussed Lyra's rise, noting that she was a prodigy in the ring.
"I'm not surprised at all. First of all, she always has been amazing before WWE, in wXw even in all the European circuits. She was a prodigy. When you met her for the first time you knew she will be a huge star and I told her like a few weeks ago, I told her, Aoife, you are my hero. She made it. She's doing amazing. I'm so proud of her. The sky is the limit for her, really. She can hang with the best. She proved already that she's one of the best."
Valkyria is the current Women's Intercontinental Champion on WWE Monday Night RAW.
