Sources close to Fanatics spoke with Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, and confirmed that Cody Rhodes has hit their top 5 overall in sales for any athlete or personality. Earlier this year, Fightful Select heard from Fanatics that he'd hit the top 10 on that list.
Rhodes has earned the public endorsement of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, who declared him as the top WWE merchandise seller. We can confirm that there aren't any other wrestlers currently in the top 5.
