Michael Hayes is taking some time off WWE, had been producing with some help for quite a while.
Michael Hayes has been working with WWE for nearly 30 years, and has long been a top producer and agent in the company, as well as WWE Hall of Famer. Perhaps most notably in recent years, Hayes was responsible for producing almost all of the Bloodline and Roman Reigns related segments. In addition, he’d also often produce segments for talent who were working with Reigns, or were preparing to
Throughout 2024, Bobby Roode had been listed as a co-producer on many of Hayes’ segments for months, and we were told that there was usually another producer shadowing him. Fightful Select asked why that was, but weren’t given a direct answer. Instead we were told that was likely to continue, and that Roode’s work in producing and serving as an agent is highly regarded. Although he revealed to Chris Van Vliet that he was cleared, he’s not planned for an in-ring return as of yet. He has helped people like the Rock prepare for a return.
In Hayes’ absence, Jamie Noble has produced numerous Bloodline related segments and matches. Among them include a number of the tag team title matches, which started even before Hayes’ absence. Noble also produced the Bloodline vs. Bloodline match at WWE Crown Jewel, Jey Uso’s segment on the WWE Raw before Crown Jewel. Roode was on solo assignment for Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes. However, both Jamie Noble and Bobby Roode produced the Bloodline vs. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes match at WWE Bad Blood.
Michael Hayes has time off for personal reasons and is expected to return.
