Eddie Edwards is confident in IMPACT.
In November of 2017 it was officially announced during the IMPACT TV tapings that IMPACT Wrestling would be relocating from their long-time home of Florida to the "Great White North" Canada. Co-owners of the company Anthem Sports & Entertainment relocated IMPACT to where their headquarters are which is Toronto.
The wrestlers who were accustom to the Florida scene had to make a transition and one of the members of IMPACT's locker room who had to get used to that transition was former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards. Edwards recently spoke with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp and among the many topics that they discussed, Edwards went into detail about the relocation to Canada and having faith in IMPACT that they will make the best decision for the wrestlers and the company as a whole.
“Yeah, like you said I’ve been here for over four years now and I’ve gone through a couple changes now you know, its not the first time." He said. "But going through this change, the best thing is being able to feel that everybody is on the same page from the front office to the boys in the back to production to everybody involved, everybody behind the scenes. We all have that same goal and its just to make IMPACT the best IMPACT Wrestling that we can.” He continued, “And I think its a very comforting thing to be able to feel it, you’re not questioning anything that’s going on. I’m fully confident in the capabilities of our company from top down to the bottom and that’s a very good thing so I’m excited to see where we can go from here and Slammiversary is basically the next stop on the IMPACT Wrestling expedition here.”
Along with Eddie Edwards, Fightful also spoke with Moose who will be challenging Austin Aries for the IMPACT World Championship at this Sunday's 'Slammiversary XVI' PPV. Both interviews are available to listen to on Fightful's YouTube channel.
