Ivelisse wishes she was on the Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground event.
At Wrestlecon this year, Ivelisse will be wrestling but not at the Impact Wrestling versus Lucha Underground event even though she just finished filming the fourth season of Lucha Underground. In an interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Ivelisse said she will be ready if Lucha Underground needs her but it does piss her off she was left off the card.
"No, I was not scheduled for wrestling. You never know, Ill be ready in case the opportunity does come up for whatever reason," said Ivelisse. "Honestly, the same thing happened to me last year and the year before that I couldn't even be at Wrestlecon because my ankle was broken...Of course it pisses me off but whatever that's the business," she added.
Ivelisse also talked about momentum she has lost as a wrestler because of her injuries over the last few years. She said she looks to this year's Wrestlecon as a restart to that momentum.
The Impact Wrestling versus Lucha Underground event will be a co-promoted event billed as the rosters against each other even though they share a lot of the same talent. So far the schedule includes a Tag Team Championship match, X-Division wrestlers against Luchadores, and the main event with Alberto El Patron teaming with Pentagon Jr to take on Austin Aries and Fenix.
The full interview can be heard at the Fightful YouTube or the video at the top of this page. You can see Ivelisse this year at WrestleCon in New Orleans.
