Exclusive: Kiera Hogan Discusses Reaction To Her Vlogs Surfacing From When She Was 16 Years Old

Quite often these days, old tweets, videos, statements come back to haunt public figures. That doesn't seem like the kind of thing Impact Wrestling's Kiera Hogan should be concerned about.

Growing up in a digital age, the 23-year old Impact Knockout started a Youtube channel in 2010 at only 15 years old. Hogan would post dance tutorials, singing videos, makeup tutorials -- and videos of her praising the then-TNA women's division that she would become a part of seven years later.

Wade Barrett: The Term 'Exciting Heel' Is An Oxymoron

"To even see them is weird to me! When I put them up when I was 16 years old, I didn't think anyone would watch them. As much as I loved TNA and talk about it, now I'm able to love it and be a part of it. (laughs). I don't have any skeletons! Everything was so innocent. I wanted to express my love for things I didn't get to talk to people in my life about. I had friends in school, but I was always a bit of outcast," Hogan told Fightful.com. "I always felt like the black sheep of my family because I loved things that no one else did. I love that people at Impact tapings people say 'I saw that vlog!'"

Hogan would also share videos of her attending TNA live events, meeting Mickie James, Elijah Burke, before the videos transition into her time as a wrestler.

"I would love if they (used it on Impact TV). People came up to me (at the Windsor television tapings), and say that they saw my vlog. My mom is saying 'when did you record this!?' I would love if they used it in promos and vignettes. All I wanted was to be a part of wrestling. I can't express how happy I am to be  a part of this division," said Hogan.

Kiera is moving away from the sweet, cuddly persona that she displayed in those vlogs, facing Ivelisse on August 18 in a cage match at Ladies Night Out III.

"You don't see a lot of women's steel cage matches. It's a part of the evolution of being able to do these different things. I think we're going to kill it. To be a part of the period is amazing. I've only been in a couple of weapons matches, I've only had a couple of steel chair shots. I'm pretty new to the hardcore side of wrestling, I'm a more traditional style. Most of the things I do will surprise myself (even)," said Hogan
