Katey Harvey talks Fight Factory.
Katey Harvey is one half of the team responsible for Fight Factory, one of the top wrestling schools in Europe based out of Ireland. Talent such as Becky Lynch, Lyra Valkyria, LJ Cleary, Debbie Keitel and more have come through their doors over the years, and continue to light up the wrestling world.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Katey Harvey was asked about how what sets Fight Factory apart from other top schools in Europe, with Harvey noting it is their traditions.
"So we are lucky that there is a lot, that is a very high standard of wrestling in Europe, but I do think we stand out just because tradition is very important to us. We are i I think maybe the longest running school in Europe, definitely in Ireland. We are basically teaching pro wrestling the same way it was taught to Phil, my partner who runs Fight Factory, the same way it was taught to him by Fergal Devitt, who's Finn Balor, and Paul Tracey, who took it from NWA Hammerlock in the UK. So we have a very strong tradition of passing down tried and true tested methods of teaching pro wrestling. Then as well, a lot of our coaches travel and train and then they bring stuff back to the Fight Factory. So we're very good at integrating different styles into what we do and and thankfully we're having a really good success rate with people coming from the school."
