Throughout 2022, The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) competed in three tag team matches against FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). All three of the matches were universally praised by fans worldwide, with many believing that it could be the best trio of matches to ever take place between two tag teams.

To this day, some fans will talk about how much the matches mean to them in relation to Jay Briscoe's sudden and shocking passing in January 2023. While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Mark Briscoe said the feud played out like a dream.

"How everything worked out and how everything came together, now that it’s in the past, it was almost like a dream. The Backseat Boys used to have a move called the Dream Sequence. It was like a dream sequence. With Jaymin passing just over a month later, it makes it more crazy and more legendary. It’s wild."

Elsewhere in the interview, Briscoe talked about wanting a singles match with Bryan Danielson. Learn more about those comments by clicking here.
