Moreno used her win over Kate as a building block in Mission Pro Wrestling, as she went on to capture the promotion's main championship in June.

While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Kate talked about facing Moreno and credited her for having a character.

"It was fun. I liked being able to play off of somebody. Again, not taking shots of people, but there aren't a lot of characters on the Indies, per se. Like there are, but there aren't. So it was nice that she was her and she is her amped up, right? Like she has a super fan on this. But it was really easy, me when my character being a super amazing person, of course, like not sarcastic or bullying at all. I'm an angel. But no, being able to play with that and it was, of course, you get a little—I don't want to say nervous—but you get curious. I'm like, ‘Okay, how is this going to be? How is she in the ring?’ You know, stuff like that. But I wasn't really worried about it. I remember the first time I met her, we're at the ECW arena in Philly and found out we're working each other and like right away, we kind of just like clicked. We're like, ‘Should we start this now?’ We're like, ‘Yeah, let's do it.’ So right off the bat, I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to be so much fun.’ So I definitely want to wrestle her again, and then on her end too, right? Because she's only how many matches deep? Even since wrestling her, she's even getting more experience. Now she's the Mission Pro Women's Champion. So she definitely has a little bit more confidence in herself, which she should. ‘Cause she's super great. But I definitely, as great as she is, I'm happy to punch her in the face any day, kick her in the face any day. I'm looking for somebody, let's see in Chicago. She's gonna win in Chicago. You got to win in Texas, but let's go on my home turf. We'll see how that's gonna go."
