MJF shares his thoughts on Britt Baker.
Dating back to its early days, AEW's Four Pillars (MJF, Darby Allin, "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry, and Sammy Guevara) have all been viewed as the future of the company, and they have all enjoyed differing levels of success. Britt Baker gradually joined the conversation about the Pillars, particularly when she rose to stardom and had a lengthy run with the AEW Women's World Championship. Now, MJF is the reigning AEW World Champion, and Baker is one of the company's top stars. She has taken shots at the self-proclaimed generational talent; among other examples, she commented on the amount of TV time he gets. Baker has also claimed that she's worth more than MJF.
Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, MJF was asked about Britt Baker talking trash, and he shared his belief that she's upset because CM Punk previously called her one of AEW's Pillars. MJF then stated that Baker is not a pillar.
"She’s definitely upset because she thinks she’s a pillar, because PG Punk said so. But the fact of the matter is she’s fucking not. Even if she was, what? Is she gonna wrestle me for the world title?" MJF said.
The AEW World Champion pointed out that he has the size advantage, so he would have the upper hand in a potential match. However, he stated that he respected Baker's career as a dentist. MJF then took the opportunity to insult wrestling fans for not cleaning their teeth.
"I’m three times her size. I would beat the living fucking shit out of her. But I do respect the fact that she’s a dentist. Hygiene’s important. It’s very important. I know a lot of you, it’s foreign to you, people watching this, you don’t know what a dentist is. So I’m going to explain real quick. They clean your teeth. You know that thing you’re supposed to do twice a day, and you haven’t? Clean your fucking teeth, wrestling fans. Please," he said.
MJF then brought up his strong quarter-hour numbers and stated that they're the reason he gets so much TV time. He emphasized that he's one of the only stars who actually draws in professional wrestling, and he's not sorry for that.
"Did you see that quarter hour? Oh, it’s always good. That’s why I am on TV for twenty-plus minutes every fucking week. ‘Cause I’m one of the only motherfuckers in pro wrestling that actually draws. So, sorry not sorry," MJF said.
MJF recently stated that he doesn't ask Tony Khan for advice about anything. Click here to see what he had to say.
