Myron Reed is having fun on the independent scene, as he likes being able to challenge himself.
Myron Reed previously had a lengthy run in MLW, as he debuted for the promotion in 2018. During his time with the company, he was featured as part of the Injustice stable, and he won the MLW World Middleweight Championship three times. Reed announced that he was a free agent in January 2023 following the expiration of his contract. Since then, he has been active on the independent scene, and he has wrestled for TNA.
Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Myron Reed was asked to comment on how he felt being outside of MLW.
"I’m not gonna lie to you, man. It’s like one of those toxic relationships. It wasn’t really toxic, but you understand, you get the comparison. It’s like one of those relationships, you’re finally free and you’re able to just test everything out. Like this run has been fun. I’ve gotten to learn a lot about myself. On top of that just being able to work with better talent, challenge myself and just see my worth, you know what I mean?" Reed said.
