Otis Recalls Being Surprised By Nic Nemeth's Technique When He Tried To Shoot The Leg During A Match

Otis recalls being surprised with Dolph Ziggler's level of technique.

Ziggler, who now goes by the name Nic Nemeth, has always had a special level of technique when it comes to his in-ring skills, as he was a multi-time champion during his collegiate wrestling days. To this day, Nemeth will still incorporate that style of wrestling into his matches, both in TNA and on the independent scene.

While speaking with Fightful for a new interview, Otis was asked to name a star that surprised him with their technique inside of the squared circle.

"Ziggler. I remember he goes, ‘Ay kid, I might go for the leg, I might not, we’ll see.’ My defense is just this [stands there]. I’m not going to get into a stance. He shot in, and he’s kind of getting the leg up, and I go, ‘Oh brother.’ I drop what I call the groceries on him, shut him down, he rolled out and goes, ‘Christ kid!’"

Elsewhere in the interview, Otis talked about the differences between digital segments and television segments. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
