Paul London recalls dumping honey on Kevin Owens in PWG.
PWG All Star Weekend in 2013 was a huge event for the promotion, as the card was littered with stars like Roderick Strong, Kevin Steen, Ricochet, Johnny Gargano, Eddie Edwards, Adam Cole, and a number of other big names names.
The opening match of the two-night event was a singles bout between Steen and Paul London. This would end up being one of Steen's final matches for the promotion before he signed with WWE.
In a new interview with Fightful Overbooked, Paul London was previewing his upcoming honey trap match in MLW when he recalled pouring honey on Steen's face after the match.
"Ask Kevin Steen how that feels. I poured honey on his face after a PWG match. He said it like engulfed him, and suffocated him and blinded him at the same time. I think the lid came off. This big glob just went (onto his face).Yes, I basically honeyboarded Kevin Owens. He was game up until it suffocated him. I basically did honeyboard him. I’m like an eco-terrorist."
