R-Truth reflects on working with The Miz in 2024.
Since making his return to WWE from a torn quadricep muscle in November of last year, R-Truth has been working with The Judgment Day, becoming a member of the faction in the process. This has caused tension, with Truth finding himself facing off with the other members in tag team matches where he would team with previous tag team partner, The Miz. This would serve as the first time the pair tagged with each other in over a decade.
While speaking to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp in a recent interview, Truth discussed teaming with The Miz once again.
"Always fun tagging with Miz, man. Always. Miz is my dog."
Truth would continue, noting that even after over a decade, the chemistry is still there for the pair as a tag team.
"Running it back. They say everything comes back full circle and it organically did. I think it’s like you almost never forget how to ride a bicycle. That chemistry is still there."
The Miz and Truth have went 1-1 as a team in 2024, first defeating Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh before losing to the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions in Damian Priest and Finn Balor on this week's edition of RAW.
