An interesting free agent name was backstage at the AEW Collision tapings.
Fightful Select has confirmed that Richard Holliday was backstage AEW tapings in Hartford. Several talent confirmed that they've seen him around at the show. We have no confirmation as to whether or not he has met to discuss a potential deal.
The 30-year old Holliday had been a top star in Major League Wrestling for years until he was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin's Lymphoma in September 2022. He's in remission and has returned to wrestling. However, he confirmed in April 2023 that he'd become a free agent.
Holliday lives fairly close to the area, and has long been connected to MJF. The two, alongside Alex Hammerstone, formed the Dynasty in MLW in 2019.
Holliday didn't appear on the show but was backstage all day.
