Serpentico says Fuego Del Sol stealing his mask could be blamed on his future losses, and Nyla Rose is responsible for a conspiracy theory against him in AEW.
Serpentico has previously been featured alongside Luther as Chaos Project, but in recent months, the masked man has been competing in singles matches. Unfortunately, this shift has not produced more wins for him.
In an interview with Joel Pearl, Serpentico took issue with the notion that he hasn't been having a great experience, regarding his win-loss record, during his singles run.
“Wait a minute. What is that supposed to mean? Great experience? What does that mean? I won last night. Hold up, oh you’re not gonna report that, are you? I beat Space Monkey last night at Greektown over in London. You report that, will you? A little bias there I think, huh?" Serpentico said.
Pearl mentioned that, the day before the interview, Buddy Matthews beat Serpentico on AEW Rampage, the same night he defeated Space Monkey. The masked man replied by noted that time is strange.
“It’s funny how we can do those at the same time. Time is a flat circle. It’s weird," he said.
Pearl noted that he figured there was more than one of Serpentico because he’s a masked superstar, so he could compete in multiple places at the same time. In response, he stated that Fuego Del Sol probbaly stole his mask. He joked that all of his future losses could be linked to this theft.
“It might have been. Fuego Del Sol maybe stole my mask. Him and Sammy are mask-stealers. You know what, every time from now on if I lose, you can probably bet it’s Fuego Del Sol stealing my mask and just losing. How about that? Alright, dig it. I like it," Serpentico said.
When asked to describe his oplan for finding success in the singles division, Serpentico instead shared his belief that Nyla Rose is at the center of a conspiracy that's responsible for his losses in AEW.
“I truly think there is a conspiracy theory against me at work. I think Nyla Rose has Tony Khan’s ear, and I think she gives him these ideas for me to wrestle these guys that outweigh new two or three times. How is that fair? I think Nyla Rose is up to no good, and I think I’m gonna have to pay her back somehow. I don’t know, I don’t know when. Oh, but I will," he said.
