Update On Eric Young's Contract Status With IMPACT

Eric Young has been with IMPACT Wrestling for the last two years, and will be for a little bit longer at least.

Young returned to IMPACT in 2020 shortly after being released by WWE, and immediately won the IMPACT World Championship. Since then, he's remained an integral figure on the program, even staying on television during a knee injury that kept him out of in-ring action. Upon arriving back in IMPACT, it was revealed that he'd signed a "multi-year contract" with the brand.

We can confirm that deal won't be running out this Summer, which would hit the "multi-year" mark. Instead, we've learned that the deal was extended at least through the end of 2022, which will keep the former champion with the company.

In other contract news, Crazzy Steve also had signed a multi-year deal around that time, that we've confirmed is not up this year.

We're told IMPACT has mentioned interest in keeping Eric Young around.
