Wes Barkley recalls appearing on two seperate episodes of WWE Raw.
Barkley can now say that he accomplished a rare feat in WWE, appearing as an extra during both the March 3 and February 24 editions of WWE Raw.
While it is unknown if this feat has ever been achieved before, Barkley is still celebrating, joking that he's going to reach out to Guinness World Records.
"We’re going to have to look into that. I’m gonna have to reach out to Guinness World Records. You might be onto something. Be CPR certified came in handy. Then, they were like, ‘We need some beasts that are security.’ That was crazy. That was one of the craziest things I’ve ever been a part of. Two weeks in a row." Barkley said while speaking to Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl of Fightful Overbooked's In The Weeds podcast.
Fightful went on to ask Barkley about being a doctor for Akira Tozawa after his match with Gunther.
"That one came about last minute. Tozawa got hurt out there with Gunther and they were like, ‘We need someone with a certification.’ That happened through a writer. A writer, we were just talking, and he said, ‘We need someone for that,’ and it came about last minute. They didn’t even know if they were going to use someone or not. It was 9:30, ‘Hey, go in this room.’ ‘Alright.’ I told them, ‘I’m gonna go make a sandwich in catering.’ ‘No, we need doctors ASAP.’ They sent me in there and that was wild because it was live. I love live TV. It is nerve-racking right before. It’s small time, small spots, but I’m just trying to get more trust and reps. I love being in front of the camera, especially when it’s live and anything can happen. That one, they were just like, ‘Hang out, help out, try to check on Tozawa.’ I did the best checking out I could. It was a great experience and great to be around all the talent. I’m so grateful to be backstage and working with them in any capacity."
