WWE - COVID-19 Update After First Positive Test Recovery | Exclusive

Good news for WWE, and one of its staff.

In early April, Fightful Select had reported that there was a positive COVID-19 test within WWE according to an internal memo that was released to talent. That talent was removed from shows, but then returned a few weeks later. After many questions from inquisitive readers, we posted the following update on Select, and the Fightful Wrestling Weekly.

AEW Adds Women's Bout To AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour

For those that have asked, the person within WWE who had tested positive for COVID-19 fully recovered several weeks ago and has long since returned to work. We've not heard of any other positive tests in WWE, IMPACT or All Elite Wrestling as they continue to hold audience-less shows. Talent were notified of the positive WWE COVID-19 test via the internal talent relations app.

As mentioned in the update, Fightful hasn't heard of any positive tests since then, but it should be noted that WWE has been doing temperature checks before entering the building. Triple H defended WWE's methods on a recent media call, saying that they're doing what's recommended of them.
