Xia Brookside gets the best of both worlds as a young veteran of wrestling.
Xia Brookside, in just shy of 10 years has had nearly 300 matches. At just the age of 25, she is a young veteran of wrestling who now gets to have the best of both worlds as she finds her way in TNA Wrestling.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp at Wrestlecon, Brookside expressed how she enjoys the best of both worlds as someone who can help out backstage in TNA while also learning more from veterans such as Gail Kim behind the scenes.
"It’s crazy. It’s surreal. It really is the best of both worlds," she said. "I get to go on TV, as you’re saying, and have these incredible matches with such great talent that have worked for so many years to get to where they are, but then I feel like I get to come to the indies and I get to give people the opportunity. How I feel about wrestling other people is how some people have expressed how they feel wrestling me. I hate being big-headed. I just don’t like all that stuff. But I love working with new talent. I love just helping. It’s just fun. It’s just so much fun. You literally get to do everything."
