Finn Balor Comments On Why He Did Not Wear His Rainbow-Themed Ring Gear At The 'Greatest Royal Rumble'

Balor provides an explanation for not wearing his rainbow-colored trunks and boots.

For a number of weeks former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor has appeared on WWE television with rainbow-colored wrestling trunks and boots in support of the LBGTQ community. At WrestleMania 34 Balor entered the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with a group of fans behind him who were wearing his "Balor Club For Everyone" shirt which promoted inclusion.

Yesterday at the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event Finn Balor partook in a Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and wore his all-black trunks and boots. Saudi Arabia does have strict laws against homosexuality in their country which kick-started the speculation of that being the reason as to why Finn did not wear the rainbow-colored gear. The former NXT Champion then took to Twitter and stated that the gear was a statement at WrestleMania and although he has not worn the attire in his last six appearances the movement still has his support.
