Although there is no word on when ROH events will return, McKay did reiterate that Gordon still has a future ROH World Championship match in his future. Back at the ROH Free Enterprise show back in February, Gordon won a Battle Royal, which included the likes of Kenny King, Danhausen, PJ Black and more, to become the No. 1 contender to the title currently being held by RUSH.
Gordon last wrestled at Gateway To Honor on February 29, teaming with fellow Villain Enterprises stablemates Brody King and Marty Scurll to defeat The Briscoes and Slex in a six-man tag team match. Back in 2018, it was reported that Gordon signed an extension that would have kept him on the roster through 2020.
