Former CMLL Ring Announcer Armando Gaytan Dies At Age 76

Longtime CMLL ring announcer Armando Gaytan has died. He was 76.

Gaytan, also known as "Mucha Crema," was the signature voice of CMLL for years and was a beloved figure from lucha libre fans. The promotion announced his passing on social media but no cause of death was announced.

"CMLL joins the pain suffered by the family of Mr. Armando Gaytan, better known as "Mucha Crema," who was a ring announcer and for various years, was adorning various roles of this organization with his grand style," CMLL wrote on social media.

Cinta De Oro, who wrestled in WWE as Sin Cara, went to Twitter to express his grief upon hearing the news.
