Francine gives her take on the match between Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone at AEW All In.
The match, which was contested for the TBS Championship, was criticized online by many fans. Mercedes Mone responded to the negative buzz in her Mone Mag on Wednesday, saying that she would have done a lot of things differently.
On the latest edition of the Eyes Up Here podcast, ECW legend Francine gave her take on the match, stating that people were too hard on Baker and Mone.
“Not everything goes 100% the way you plan it to. You work around it. But it wasn’t to the point where I said, oh my god that’s a botch or oh my god they messed that up. You know what I mean? The reports that I was reading they were just burying the girls, and I was just expecting a shitshow and that’s not what I saw. I think that people were too hard on them."
